THIS is the face of Rosalyn Hunt, one of the two people found dead in Ipswich whose bodies sparked a double murder probe.

As a 15-year-old girl and 41-year-old man from the town continued to be questioned about the deaths by detectives early today, tributes were paid to Ms Hunt.

The mother-of-two's life ended tragically early at her flat in Victoria Street. Her world had fallen apart some years ago after she was gripped by an addiction to alcohol.

Today, a rose and a bunch of flowers accompanied by a lager bottle lay outside the ground floor flat's door.

Luke Wright, 16, who lives nearby, said: “I cried when I heard. It hits you, especially when you live in a place like this. Rose was always happy to talk, even if she did not know you.”

Rose Goddard, 16, added: “Rose was warm-hearted. She had a nice side to her. We put a rose outside her door to pay our respects.”

Meanwhile, the two suspects arrested on suspicion of murder were still being held at Ipswich police station today and a 12 hour extension has been granted to police to question the pair further.

The name of the other person found dead at a flat in Limerick Road, Ipswich, early yesterday morning was revealed earlier today as Des Thorpe.
