A motorist had to be cut free from the wreckage of his vehicle following a collision on a rural Suffolk road this morning.
The crash happened on the Southwold Road in Blyford, near Halesworth, at about 8am. It involved a green Honda Civic and a silver Citroën C3.
Police closed the road near the junction for King’s Lane while the male driver of one of the vehicles was cut free. He was then taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
