A WOMAN has been threatened with a knife as she walked along a road in west Suffolk.
The victim was on St Johns Close in Mildenhall between 9.15pm and 9.30pm on Sunday night when a car drew up beside her.
A police spokesman said the man driving the car began asking for directions when he suddenly pulled out a knife. The woman made her escape by running away.
The man is described as white, in his mid 30s with short, dark receding hair, wearing a dark blue top and jeans.
The car is believed to be a mark one silver Ford Focus with a large exhaust, white dials on the dashboard and alloy wheels.
