A MOTORIST has today been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being involved in a crash with a lorry.The collision between the lorry and black Volkswagen Golf happened at 8.30am.
A MOTORIST has today been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being involved in a crash with a lorry.
The collision between the lorry and black Volkswagen Golf happened at 8.30am on the A134 at Alpheton, near Lavenham. The man, who had been driving the Golf, was trapped in his car and had to be freed by firefighters.
An ambulance and air ambulance arrived at the scene and the driver was taken to West Suffolk Hospital with serious injuries.
The road was closed for several hours while the serious collision investigation unit remained the scene.
