FIRE crews cut a man free from the car he was driving after a crash on the A12 at Martlesham.

Firefighters from Woodbridge, Colchester Road and Princes Street stations were called to the scene of the collision, near Suffolk Police headquarters, at around 12.40pm.

The man, who was driving a black ford fiesta suffered possible whiplash injures when he collided with a white Mercedes panel van.
