FIVE people are still in custody in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire following the arrest of seven people in connection with an investigation into the supply of class A drugs.

FIVE people are still in custody in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire following the arrest of seven people in connection with an investigation into the supply of class A drugs.
The seven, four men and three women, were arrested after officers from Suffolk, Cambridge and London executed warrants at six addresses in Haverhill, North London and South East Cambridgeshire on Tuesday.
Weapons, drugs - including cocaine, cash and vehicles were seized when Suffolk police executed three search warrants. A 38-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman, a 26-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, all from Haverhill, were arrested on suspicion of conspiring to supply class A drugs. They were all taken into custody at Bury St Edmunds police station, where detectives are continuing to question them.
The Metropolitan police and Cambridgeshire police executed four warrants, which lead to three people being arrested and drugs and cash being seized.
A 21-year-old man from Whittlesford, Cambridgeshire, was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to supply class A drugs and remained in custody at Parkside police station in Cambridge.
A 43-year old man from Whittlesford and a 41-year-old female from Whittlesford, arrested on suspicion of money laundering, have been released on police bail to return to Parkside in September.
