POLICE have arrested two people on suspicion of firearms and drugs offences following a raid on a home in Essex.
In a joint operation involving Essex police and the Serious and Organised Crime Agency (SOCA), officers attended an address in Plums Lane, Bardfield Saling, near Braintree, yesterday.
A number of firearms and drugs were found at the address.
A 58-year-old woman from Bath and a 52-year-old man from Bath were arrested on suspicion of firearms and drug offences and remain in police custody.
Police are today conducting a detailed search of the property.
