POLICE have today arrested seven people and seized drugs and weapons as part of an investigation into the supply of Class A drugs.

POLICE have today arrested seven people and seized drugs and weapons as part of an investigation into the supply of Class A drugs.

The four men and three women were arrested after officers from Suffolk, Cambridge and London executed warrants at six addresses in Haverhill, North London and South East Cambridgeshire.

Weapons, drugs including cocaine, cash and vehicles were seized.

A 38-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman, a 26-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, all from Haverhill, were arrested on suspicion of conspiring to supply Class A drugs.

They were all taken into custody at Bury St Edmunds police station where they are being questioned.

The Metropolitan Police and Cambridgeshire Police executed four warrants, which lead to three people being arrested and drugs and cash being seized.

A 21-year-old man from Whittlesford in Cambridgeshire has been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to supply Class A drugs.

A 43-year old man from Whittlesford and a 41-year-old female from Whittlesford have been arrested on suspicion of money laundering. All three are currently in custody at Parkside police station in Cambridge.
