A farm worker has been injured after he was kicked by a bullock which threw him against a wall in a cow shed this morning.
The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) was alerted to a property in Burrough Green, Dullingham, near Newmarket at 8.10am.
A rapid response car, a duty operations manager, an ambulance crew and the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) attended the scene.
EEAST paramedic officer Tim Hayes, who attended the scene, said: “The man, who we believe to be in his 50s, was struck by the bullock which threw him against a wall. Following assessments by land and air ambulance crews, he was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital escorted by the EAAA team for further treatment.”
The man sustained injuries to his chest, head and shoulder which are believed to be non-life threatening.
