DETECTIVES investigating an assault on a 21-year-old woman in Lowestoft are renewing their appeal for information.

Police have released an e-fit of the man they want to speak to in connection with the attack, which happened in Kimberley Road in the early hours of June 13.

The victim was walking home when she saw two people - a man and a woman - walking towards her.

They stopped and spoke to her, but the victim then saw the man was indecently exposing himself.

She was then grabbed by the man and subsequently struck by the offender but managed to run away towards Durban Road.

Police are working to trace the man, and the woman he was with.

The attacker was white, about 5ft 7ins tall, of small build, possibly in his early to mid 20s, with light brown shoulder length curly hair and wearing a navy blue hooded top and dark blue denim jeans.

Officers are also urging the woman he was with to come forward, as she witnessed the incident and may also have been subject to aggression by the offender.

She was also white, about 5ft 3ins tall, of slim build, in her late teens to early 20s, with straight brown hair in a ponytail. She was wearing a dark coloured hooded jacket and dark combat trousers.

Anyone who recognises the man in the e-fit, or who has any information, should call Lowestoft CID on 01986 835300 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
