Police are investigating a car fire which started in the early hours of this morning in Newmarket.
The blaze broke out in Hamilton Road just before 4.30am, causing substantial damage to a burgundy Mercedes.
A crew from Newmarket extinguished the flames by about 4.50am.
The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate. Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, quoting NE15 742..
