RAIL services between London and Norwich have been cancelled or delayed by up to two hours due to signalling failures between Chelmsford and Hatfield Peverel.
Train services on all routes via Chelmsford are effected, including Clacton-on-Sea, Braintree, Colchester, Whitam, Hatfield Peverel, Chelmsford, Ingatestone, Shenfield, Gidea Park, Ilford and London Liverpool Street.
The cause of the signalling failure is not yet known but buses are being dispatched to transport passengers to their destination.
National Express said engineers are working as fast as possible to restore services to normal.
