A man was taken to hospital with minor injuries after a car towing a caravan ended up on its roof.
The accident happened at around midday today on the A12 near the East Bergholt junction.
The male driver of the Mitsibushi estate car was taken to Colchester Hospital, but suffered no serious injuries.
One lane was shut on the southbound carriageway but the accident has now been cleared.
