An e-fit likeness of the man accused of attempting to sexually assault a teenage girl near a village pub in Suffolk has been released by police in a renewed appeal for information.

The 15-year-old victim was walking past the Hare and Hounds pub in Heath Road into Chaplin Road when she saw a man resting against the fence at the junction.

After his attempts to talk to her were ignored, the man is alleged to have grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her into some nearby bushes, where he exposed himself, made sexual comments and tried to force himself upon the girl, who ran away.

The offender is described as a white man, in his twenties, with blond short spiked hair, dark eyebrows and stubble. He was wearing skinny-fit light blue jeans and a grey hooded top.

Police are asking anyone who recognises the accused to contact police in Ipswich on 101 quoting reference HD/14/647. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
