An eight-year-old girl has started her own project to help homeless people this Christmas.
Amelia Miller, from Stowmarket, was shopping with her mother Jo when she saw the plight of those sleeping rough and wanted to help.
She has been building small parcels full of toiletries, food and warm winter woolly hats and scarves.
The Woodley primary pupil will hand over the collection to Ipswich Community Church on Wednesday.
