An elderly man was threatened with a knife as he walked in Jaywick.

The victim, aged in his 60s, was walking close to Dots of Jaywick, in Broadway, when he was approached by a man around 4.30pm on Tuesday, December 5, and threatened with a pen knife.

The suspect then walked off and did not assault the victim, who was left shaken by the incident.

The suspect has been described as being black, around 5ft 9in and of a large build with a beard. He wore a black leather jacket and track suit bottoms with three stripes.
