Two vehicles were involved in a crash on the A11 at Elveden tonight.
A silver Vauxhall Astra and a black Mercedes estate car collided close to the monument on the busy dueal carriageway.
Police, two fire crews from the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service based at Bury St Edmunds and Brandon, along with an ambulance from the East of England Ambulance Service attended the incident which happened just after 8.15pm on the southbound stretch of the road.
A spokesman for Suffolk Constabulary said one of the drivers was treated for minor injuries and one lane of the carriageways was closed while the emergency services dealt with the crash.
The road was cleared by 10.35pm
