FOUR people have been hurt following a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on the A11.

The East of England Ambulance Service was called to the Elvedon crossroads at about 3.13pm on Saturday following reports of a collision.

A community first responsder was on scene in about two minutes, backed up by two ambulances and a paramedic car.

One person suffered a serious head injury, and three others were assessed for neck pain.

All four patients were taken to West Suffolk Hospital for further care.
