An air ambulance was dispatched after a car ended up on its side in an Essex village this morning.
The incident took place around 9am on Pentlow Lane, Pentlow, near Cavendish, and fire crews also attended the scene.
A woman was trapped in her vehicle and freed by firefighters by 10.24am.
She received treatment from the East of England Ambulance Service and was taken to hospital for further treatment.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision in Pentlow.
“An ambulance, ambulance officer and the East Anglian Air Ambulance attended the scene. One patient was treated for leg injuries and taken to the West Suffolk Hospital for further treatment.”
