Emergency services are at the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Fressingfield near Eye.

Suffolk police were called by the ambulance service at around 7.20am today, Monday, September 25, to the collision in Wood Lane.

The crash involved a Vauxhall Zafira van and a Volvo V70 car.

A police spokeswoman said the road had been blocked by the crash as it is only a single-track, rural lane and that there were reports that both drivers had received minor injuries as a result of the collision.

She said: “We were called today at 7.19am this morning by the ambulance service reporting a two vehicle collision in Wood Lane in Fressingfield near Eye.

“It appears there may be some minor injuries.

“One driver has hurt his hand and the other driver is complaining about whiplash.

“Ambulance are also on the scene.

“The road is closed as it is a small country lane.”
