PLUMES of thick, black smoke billowed across the M11 as fire ripped through a factory this morning.
More than 40 firefighters battled the blaze at an industrial estate in Jeffreys Road, Enfield.
They arrived at 7.35am and had the fire under control by 10.46am. However, the unit is thought to be devastated and 120 workers evacuated at the height of the drama are still unable to return.
Fire investigators and police remain at the scene investigating the cause.
