The nation is bracing itself for the most anticipated England football match in 28 years - with only a win over Croatia between them and a World Cup final clash against France.

Millions will be glued to their screens from 7pm tonight as England take on Croatia in the World Cup semi-final.

There were jubilant scenes across England on Saturday after Gareth Southgate’s heroes beat Sweden 2-0 to secure their best World Cup run since 1990.

Last night saw France beat Belgium 1-0 through a 52nd minute corner to earn their place in the final.

Pubs and bars across Suffolk and Essex are set to be packed with fans, waving the St George’s flag and singing their hearts out.
