WHO can beat Churchill Insurance and win the James Hehir Ipswich Inter-Firm Cup this season?
Businesses however big or small as long as they can field a football team are invited to enter for the 2010/11 competition that is due to start next month.
Re-launched in 2008 by Suffolk FA in partnership with Ipswich Borough Council’s Team Ipswich project, the previously long-running competition has proved a big hit.
Games can be played midweek under floodlights or during day light sides including Northgate High School staff, Ipswich Area Police, Suffolk Fire Service, ASDA, Churchill Insurance, ISG Jackson Construction Firm, Ipswich Town Community Trust and the Royal Mail taking part last season.
Churchill beat holders Ipswich Postals 3-0 at Ransomes Sports ground in last season’s final. Twelve months earlier Postals beat Ipswich Area Police 2-1 to take the trophy.
