A MAN smashed through the skylight of a pub and stole a three-figure some of cash before running off.

Police are now appealing for help in tracing the pictured man in relation to the incident at the Boardwalk Public House in Pier Gap, Clacton.

Investigating officer, Pc Tanya Sampson, said: “It’s taken some time to obtain this CCTV and we’re now trying to identify this man.

“We have a good description of him so are hoping that this and the image will trigger a name in someone’s memory. If so, they should contact us.”

The man is described as white, aged in his 20s or early 30s, with brown hair.

He was wearing a turquoise hoodie, a black jacket with an emblem on it, blue jeans and dark shoes.
