Two crews from Essex County Fire and Rescue were called to a storage unit fire at around 9pm last night in Sible Hedingham.
Crews from Halstead and Wethersfield attended the fire on Prayors Hill on the outskirts of the village.
A spokesperson for Essex County Fire and Rescue said: “Firefighters were called to a fire in a timber framed storage unit in Sible Hedingham last night.
“The building measured approximately 10m x 5m. When fire crews arrived they reported the fire was also affecting the neighbouring unit.”
Fire crews extinguished the fire by 10.20pm. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
