FIRE fighters tackled a blaze in a car workshop on Tuesday morning.

They were called to Stambourne Road, Great Yeldham, Essex, around 7am.

Fire crews - from Sible Sible Hedingham, Wethersfield and Halstead - reported around 10% of the building was affected.

A spokesman for Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said: “The electricity board has been called to isolate power to the site.

“The owner of the workshop is now on the scene and removing vehicles from the unit as crews continue their work.

“The incident commander has confirmed that cylinders in the workshop are not involved in the fire.”
