Essex: Homes evacuated after car collides with gas main and electricity pole

Homes have been evacuated and a 200 metre exclusion zone has been put in place after a car collided with a gas main and electricity pole in Great Easton, Essex.

Fire crews from Thaxted and Dunmow were called to the incident, on the B184, at about 6.20pm today.

The gas and electricity board have also been called.
