Essex: Motor cruiser breaks down five miles from coast

A MOTOR cruiser had to be towed back to land after it broke down five miles off Walton-on-the-Naze.

Thames Coastguard were called about the incident at about 4.45pm yesterday. Walton RNLI All-weather lifeboat and Walton Coastguard were both tasked to deal with the incident.

The lifeboat located the vessel and towed it to Titchmarsh Marina.
