Before Ipswich Crown Court for a plea and direction hearing today (Tuesday) was Gavin Whitlock, of Leconfield Walk, Hornchurch.
A not guilty plea was entered on his behalf to a charge of causing the death of Robert Cattermole on December 16 last year by driving a Vauxhall Corsa on London Road, Stanway, without care and attention.
The case was adjourned until January 26 for a further case management hearing and his trial, which is expected to last two to three days, is due to get underway on March 22 next year.
