Traffic was brought to a standstill on the A12 today following a multi-vehicle collision in Essex.
The crash, believed to have involved up to six vehicles, happened just before 3pm on the southbound carriageway between junction 14 for Margaretting and junction 13 for Ingatestone.
Police blocked the road and motorists travelling towards London faced congestion to Three Mile Hill. The road has since reopened.
