Essex Police are looking to speak to 26-year-old Gavyn Booker in connection with a burglary in Brightlingsea.
Booker is described as being 5ft 7ins tall and could be rough sleeping within the Colchester area.
A police spokesman said: “We would like to locate him in connection with a burglary off Red Barn Road that was reported to us on Thursday, May 3.
“During this incident suspects forced entry to the property, carried out a messy search and stole electrical equipment, cash and clothing.”
