Essex Police have arrested a man in connection with an assault in Clacton on Sunday morning.
A 34-year-old man was slashed in the face with a belt at Bentley’s Bar in Marine Parade East.
The incident took place at 1am on Sunday, February 10.
The assault victim was left with a serious slash wound which will require surgery.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “A 23-year-old man from Clacton has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and is currently in custody for questioning.”
