Officers from Essex police investigating a stabbing in Chelmsford have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in connection to the incident.

A man was stabbed in Springfield Road on Saturday, August 19, after being set upon by a group of five men but was able to get away.

His injuries were not life-threatening.

The attack took place at around 2.20am between Rosebery House and the old Argos building.

Police have released the CCTV image, taken from Backnang Swquare in the city centre, with the hope of tracking down the two men pictured.
