Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the attempted robbery of two women in Colchester.
According to a spokesman for Essex police, the victims, aged 19 and 20, were walking across the bridge in Colne causeway at around 3.50am on Thursday, November 22, when they were approached by a man.
He demanded they hand over their phones and property but when they told him they did not have anything, he left the scene.
A police spokesman added: “We want to speak to the man pictured as part of our enquiries.
“We appreciate it is not the clearest image but hope someone might have seen him.”
