Police have issued CCTV footage of a man they want to talk to in connection with an assault in Colchester town centre on a 16-year-old boy that is being treated as a hate crime.
The youth was left with facial injuries following a confrontation in the High Street.
The incident happened at around 7.25pm on October 25 but police have only just released details.
The man officers want to speak to is white and was wearing a grey hoodie, black trousers and black shoes.
Essex Police are now calling for anyone with information about the attack to come forward by calling PC Carly Mond from Colchester’s Community Policing Team on 101 quoting the crime reference number 42/156308/18.
