Essex Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision in the Highwoods area of Colchester at the end of December.

Officers were called to Viscount Drive at 6.07am on December 27, 2018 after reports that a blue Nissan Micra had been involved in a collision with a white Ford Transit van.

No injuries were reported but the driver of the Nissan Micra left the scene on foot.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Officers have been unable to locate the driver of the Nissan Micra and would encourage anyone with information about this incident to come forward.”

Those with information, dashcam or CCTV relating to the collision should call the Stanway Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting incident number 158 of 27/12.
