Officers have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with a sexual assault in which an elderly woman was attacked.
Essex Police yesterday issued an appeal over information about Ryan Martin, who was wanted in connection with a sexual assault offence on a woman in her 70s which was committed in the Clacton area.
Officers said he was believed to have connections to Clacton-on-Sea, as well as neighbouring Holland-on-Sea.
He was taken into custody in the town yesterday, Wednesday, December 19, on suspicion of two sexual assault offences.
Police also arrested the man on suspicion of one count of burglary and one count of robbery.
He currently remains in custody for questioning.
