Staff at a Colchester shop will be going to great heights to raise money for charity next month.
White Stuff staff members Helen Daw, 29 and from Frinton and Nic Dines, 36 and from Colchester, will be abseiling inside the atrium of the Essex County Hall building in Chelmsford on December 3 to raise money for The J’s Hospice.
The store has already raised £2,500 this year for the charity through raffles, bake sales and by volunteering at Chelmsford Marathon.
Helen and Nic said: “We love to raise money for charity and The J’s Hospice is such a wonderful cause. We have never done anything like this before and we hope to raise as much money and awareness as we can.”
The J’s Hospice helps young adults facing life limiting and life threatening conditions by providing respite and hospice at home care.
