FIREFIGHTERS were sent to the scene of a single-vehicle collision on the A12 in Essex On Sunday night.
Crews from Witham, Coggleshall and Tiptree were mobilised when the drama unfolded just after 5.05pm.
The incident took place on the London-bound carriageway of the road.
One woman had been left trapped by the collision and she was freed from her car at 6.12pm.
