FORMER Darkness drummer Ed Graham will be at this year's Halesworth Gig in the Park with his new band Karaoke for Beginners.
They are the latest name to sign up to the popular summer festival, which runs between August 7 and 9.
It will be the group's first appearance outside London after spending their time playing on the Camden circuit.
Graham, from Lowestoft, shot to fame in 2003 along with fellow former Kirkley High School pupils Justin and Dan Hawkins as part of rock group The Darkness.
Karaoke for Beginners - also featuring guitarist Fuzz who was in 80s indie band Silverfish - will be joined on the bill by Jon Allen, who recently played on Later with Jools Holland and has been featured heavily on BBC Radio 2.

A spokesman for the three day event said: “It is a real coup that we have been able to book these two new acts. There is every likelihood that they will be too big to play at the festival next year.”
Other acts also confirmed for Halesworth Gig in the Park include Glenn Tilbrook, Chas and Dave and Nine Below Zero.
