A FORMER Network Rail executive who was under investigation for alleged financial irregularities was found dead at home with his wife, it emerged today.
Anthony Burgess, 45, was on bail after being quizzed by British Transport Police officers following his dismissal as corporate offices manager last year.
A spokesman for the Essex coroner said today that the bodies of Mr Burgess and his wife Marian, 51, were found at the couple's home in Clavering on January 25.
The deaths are not being treated as suspicious.
