Walkers have a chance to explore part of east Suffolk during a walk from Wickham Market railway station on Saturday.
The East Suffolk Lines Community Rail Partnership is set to host another of its free guided railway walks, starting from the recently restored station (in the village of Campsea Ashe) at 10.10, the circular route crosses water meadows which are beside the River Ore and passes through the villages of Marlesford and Little Glemham.
Covering nine miles of Suffolk Countryside, the free ramble, will be led by Mary Moore and is expected to take about five hours to complete.
Saturday’s walk has been timed to coincide with arrival at Wickham Market Station of the 09.07 train from Lowestoft and 09.17 service from Ipswich.
The East Suffolk Lines Community Rail Partnership has published details of more than 130 miles of walks which link with railway stations across the east of the county.
