FIREFIGHTERS were called to a hospital after reports of an alarm sounding and smoke being seen in the building.
A crew from Eye was dispatched to Hartismere Hospital, in the town, at about 9.15am today (Saturday February 16).
Another appliance from Diss was also called for after the caller reported seeing smoke in the building.
Crews arrived at 9.20am to find no sign of fire but started to investigate the area as a precaution.
After searching the hospital crews confirmed it had been a false alarm and left the area by 10am.
