A 50-year-old woman has been airlifted to hospital after coming off her bicycle at Eyke, near Woodbridge.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said the accident, which happened at about noon on the A1152, is not believed to involve any vehicle.
The woman is believed to have suffered fractures and has initially been taken to Ipswich Hospital by air ambulance.
The road has now reopened.
