Face in the wood turns heads

A PHOTOGRAPHER had quite a surprise when she stumbled upon an old branch bearing a striking resemblance to a human face

Student Adrianna Kaczmarska, 18, of Dovercourt, was out walking in High Woods Country Park in Colchester when she spotted the smiling face.

“There was a huge piece of wood lying on the floor which, from a distance, looked normal but as we walked a bit closer to it, my boyfriend’s little brother said he could see a face in it,” said Miss Kaczmarska. “It looked really interesting, so I just took a picture of it.”

As a student of art and design at Suffolk New College, Miss Kaczmarska says she is thinking about using the picture in her portfolio.
