The family of missing Essex man Nigel Kedar have made an emotional plea for information on his whereabouts on BBC One’s Crimewatch Roadshow.
Mr Kedar, from St Osyth near Clacton, has not been seen since April 4 after going to visit a friend in Norwich.
The 52-year-old father and builder was last seen in the Long Stratton and Thelveton areas of Norfolk.
Speaking on the BBC show on Tuesday, June 20, Mr Kedar’s sister Diana Mays said “he’s loved” and “we just want him home” and urged her brother - or anyone who knows where he might be - to get in touch.
In a message to her brother, she said: “Call someone, tell them you’re okay and whatever it is he feels he can’t come home for, we’re a strong family - we can sort it. We can help him.”
She described Mr Kedar as a “hard worker” and a “family man” who was “devoted to his son” and insisted his disappearance was “completely out of character”.
Detective Chief Inspector Marie James, from the Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team (MIT), also appeared on the show, presented by former detective Rav Wilding, to appeal for information.
She said: “If anyone saw Nigel that morning in the Thelveton area, the Long Stratton area, we would urge people to come forward and help us.
“Anything, however insignificant they think that might be, please come forward and help us find Nigel for the family.”
Following the television appeal, Mr Kedar’s parents issued a statement.
It said: “We love and miss you and long to be with you again, or at least know you are alright with whatever you are doing now. “We love you and love conquers all. Whatever has happened, you will always be our son and we can help you, if you need it.
“Your sisters, brother and your son – our grandson – are also struggling with your disappearance.
“Please be in touch if you can. We all love you, Mum and Dad.”
Mr Kedar has driven to Norwich in his Peugeot on April 2 for a night out with a friend and stayed at his house.
He was unable to drive home the following morning as a friend had let his tyres down due to concerns that he was unfit to drive after the amount of alcohol he had consumed.
The same day he phoned his work colleague to tell him he would not be coming to work. That evening, his family reported him missing.
CCTV saw Mr Kedar withdrawing £100 from a cash machine at a shop in Long Stratton at 6.30am on April 4.
Mr Kedar is white, 5ft 11in tall, of a large build and has short hair. He was wearing dark-coloured trousers with a lighter coloured long-sleeved shirt.
