AN obsessed fan of Little Britain star David Walliams has been warned that she faces jail after she bombarded the star with presents and repeatedly tried to contact him.

A court heard today how Sarah Bartholomew of Clacton, was twice arrested and taken into custody for breaching strict bail conditions.

Even after being warned of the consequences of her actions she hand-delivered a letter and gifts to the comedian's home and plagued his agent with text messages.

The 29-year-old pleaded guilty at a hearing last month to harassing Walliams between last October and February this year, and was released on bail.

Bartholomew sent Mr Walliams underwear, cuddly toys, chocolates and DVDs.

In one message to him she said: "I'd rip off your pants in a sexual frenzy. You can have me how you want - I'm ever so bendy.'

Today Jonathan Steingold, defending, told Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court, in London: “My client has asked me to tell this court of her strong feelings for Mr Walliams.

“She has asked me specifically to impart that."

But Deputy District Judge David Miller replied: "I think that she's made that quite clear on a number of occasions. I'm not sure it's going to help her.'

Bartholomew's case was adjourned to June 20 for a psychiatric report to be prepared.
