A SMOULDERING haystack is being closely monitored by fire crews.
The 400-tonne stack, hedges and undergrowth were blazing when they arrived at 12.35am.
Two crews from Bury St Edmunds and the off-road unimog vehicle were dispatched to the farm, which is located alongside the A14 at Rougham.
Regular crews were stood down at 2.15am but the unimog remains on site in case the smouldering remains reignite.
