A farmer was treated for the effects of breathing in smoke after he managed to put out a fire in his tractor.
Two fire crews - from Sudbury and Long Melford - were called to the incident in Bridge Street, near Lavenham, at just after 9am but the blaze in the machine had been extinguished before they arrived.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Trust said the farmer was treated by an ambulance crew at scene but did not need to go to hospital.
