The man is thought to have left hospital following the incident.
A man was detained on suspicion of drink driving following a collision on the A12 in Farnham.
Suffolk police report that a car was seen to be across the road at around 11.25pm on Thursday.
The man was thought to have minor injuries and was taken to hospital to be checked over.
